My main computer is a Pentium Dual-Core with 2GB of ram, which I use for everything. Occasionally, though, I use... -Amiga 600 with 2MB of RAM - Games and music tracking -Celeron 2 GHz with 128 MB of RAM - Gaming and Internet-browsing with TV-Out (quite noisy) -Future 486 (still to be built, lacks a working processor) - Gaming, Adlib music tracking I guess you can summarize my life down to school, games, internet and music

SyniphasI liked the A600, I had one a few years back, wish I hadn't given it away What's wrong with the keyboard on it? The membrane's connector end is completely torn. A way of fixing it would be cutting some of it back then taking off the green plastic cover, but so far I haven't been able to do that without damaging the wiring underneath it.

Call me mad:
De-gutted a crappy "external hdd" case (really just a metal block with a full-size PC HDD in it with the IDE cable and a power plut hanging out with some really untrustable capacitors and whatnot converting 120v into 5v...
...I have a 420 MB Quantum HD sided with my... Maxtor... 250 GB.
And an OPTIARC DVD player than can't read/burn anything without tripping and rolling down the stairs (Burning a DVD of, say, Mac OS X takes over 2 hours. Starts at 6x, ends oscillating between 0x and 1x. I've been told it's a DMA problem, but neither on the Windows settings nor on the BIOS I can turn it on.)
I should get a medal or something.

I don't think so... The entire laptop case is busted, with some luck I should be able to de-gut it and put it in a new box or something.

I have a 486 laptop with 3.11 and 20mb of ram... the hinges are completely busted.
I just got a brand new floppy drive for my desktop pc (to transfer files from and to the laptop) so I may post some pics of it once I get home.

I'm trying to get two beaten up Amiga 600's I bought at Mercado Livre up and running. One doesn't turn on, the other one has a broken keyboard (and none of the three keyboards i have work), I wonder where I can find a spare A600 keyboard...
Before the keyboard stopped working, just the ESC - HELP row wasn't working (sucks, Pinball Fantasies needs you to press F# for each table), and I did some quite interesting stuff, such as writing my own serial cable transfer program in AMOS and FreeBasic, built a null-modem cable out of an old computer parallel port and a broken sega genesis controller's cable and wrote about 11 floppies worth of games (Lotus Turbo Challenge ftw). Too bad now I have this urge to play it and the damn keyboard just won't work...

I've been wondering if it'd be possible to add PCM SFX on airstriker 2 for some time now, songs take all the six channels though, and the thing is just slow as hell as it is already
