That's nice, you are using an old platformer engine I made, it was one that I used for two cyclops. It is better to use this example: www.youtube.com/watch?v=hc8IuARSgXEIt is more optimized than the one used in the two cyclops game. when you get more experience, or if you wanna to, the best way to show big maps is using this method here: devster.proboards.com/thread/1464/big-map-exampleAratu Bros engine doesnt use these engines, it wasnt made with BEX or SecondBASIC, it was made in SGDK.

Well, my game actually has 3 languages, which are english, português and español. But who cares about me having 3? Languages are a basic thing to add. I was just saying that there exist other BEX game with language option. The only game I made with this option. The others I didnt have enough patience.

I take the code from here: smd.originalvgo.com/smd/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=19 and made some adaptations to work with imagenesis and SecondBASIC (port it to BEX is easy). I used the free program TILED to prepare my image to use. To convert using imagenesis, I use the option optimized. -> fundo_tile.bin was made using "export tile data" -> fundo_paleta.bin was made using "export palette data" -> fundo_tilemap.bin was made using "export tile map" as the background image is the same of collision map, to generate the collision map (fundo_colisao.bin) I used the same fundo_tilemap.bin you can turn on/off gravity by pressing B. when gravity is on, you can jump by pressing C. later I will try to add comments in english and to make an example with the background different from collision map. all comments in the code are in portuguese. here is a video preview: Attachments:codigo plataforma v5.zip (178.41 KB)

I adapted bresenham algorithm to work in BEX, it can be used to make an enemy that shot an projectile towards player.
it is a simples algorithm that uses only sums and subtracions, avoiding to use product and divisions.

New platformer game coming: Devwill Too MD I am coding and a amaweks (same partner of Mangangá game) is making all the art and music. The game will have a total of 10 stages, with some mid bosses and a final boss.
