Crazy Bus is back now better than ever before with support for the Sega CD. This allows you to enjoy your favorite game of all time Crazy Bus using state of the art optical disc technology. Features: Radio mode: press B when driving and then you can select a song better color reduction CD audio (No more PSG music) tile compression and tile map compression for an overall reduction in loading time. Download the game and the source here: github.com/ComputerNerd/Crazy-Bus-SegaCDGoals for next version: use some of the Sega CD hardware Add support for picking up passengers and then get them there in a certain amount of time and then earn cash so you can "upgrade" the bus and get everyone there faster and earn more cash. Also (just like the flash game crazy taxi you could jump over cars and objects coming at you. TODO: find the screenshots I took and reupload those.

No more PSG music?!? Surely the CD audio would allow a random mix of cats fornicating, burps, car horns and tires squishing frogs? Joking aside I'm eager to see how tile map compression works! Thanks for sharing

I would just love to do that the random car horns and other bus noises but the only real way to do that is to A:make it on the computer then store it as cd audio B:(this is the one I want to learn)use the pcm chip I don't know how to access it I think the only way is to use the sub cpu which might be impossible unless crazy bus gets ported to asm but you never know I relay hope I could do the B option

Neat! Nice to see that someone is doing something else than making this a endless Internet meme Nah, CrazyBus isn't CrazyBus without the "SEKRET SAUCE(tm)" soundtrax Will try anyway. The "radio mode" sounds interesting, although most "Real-Life(tm)" bus drivers don't even bother over here - they just keep the radio tuned to the same shitty station BTW: DepositFiles is lame with my country. Could you upload it somewhere else, like Megaupload?

For those planning to do PCM sounds for the bus and things: - Mairtrus had posted a PCM sample player for BEX somewhere in the forums (or maybe it was at ElOtroLado?). Look for it, may be useful as a base for understanding how the PCM works. - The current horn sound is realistic and quite accurate to the Real Things (it's from actual Brazilian brands) - just 2 PSG tunes The backwards alarm could take some work. But most likely, the bus motor sound should be redone in PCM (in that case, i would take samples from different motor brands and make them an option )

Tom Maneiro you are talking about the sega cd chip right and not the genesis dac?I already can do genesis dac but not pcm with the RF5C164 which is the pcm chip inside the sega cd and I would just love to make something happen with it but the pcm chip seems to only be usable from the sub cpu is there any way to use the sub cpu in basic?

Could you upload it somewhere else, like Megaupload? that is pretty much the same everywere with the radio and do you mean deposit files is just slow or does it not work in Venezuela? If it doesn't work I could re-upload but uploading 30 megabytes isn't all that fun.

Nevermind, i've managed to download it. DepositFiles has this ridiculous "all slots for your country are in use" limit enforced for countries like mine, that is a pain if you're trying to download a single file. Oh, i forgot that the SegaCD has a PCM chip - actually the SCD is pretty much uncharted waters for me

Since the link is down, I have uploaded this to Github for everyone's enjoyment.
Also when looking for this I found two crazy bus related directories one of which had a file called fmv.bin. Instead of playing an FMV it just displayed text that said press start to play FMV and played the rick roll in the background. Pressing start never did anything.
