Well... what about a 640GB drive? I have 1.5 TB of storage space on my servers and it's still not enough.

Just about $110 (plus S&H) on MercadoLibre. Very expensive! You should be able to find it cheaper on eBay or Newegg or somewhere in the 'States. In Euro stores, it's below €45 (just over $50) The drive is DAMN silent, and pretty fast! However, an minor issue that i've noticed is that the drive clicks. It's very rare, but it does very audible clicks once or twice per week... From some reviews of users on the net, this is normal (recalibration thingies or something like that), and should not affect the reliability of the drive. I'm very confident on Samsung drives, so let's hope the best... Go ahead, buy it! Or save your bucks for this 320gig MONSTER by Toshiba! You can add some pr0n, a Vista setup, "backups" from PirateLand, and with the remaining 2 megs, save your school works This reminds me that i need to buy another SpinPoint, but for my recording box... I got mine for $60, and that's including $20 of shipping. I offered to pay more for shipping too because i wanted my new hard drive well packed, i mean exceptionally packaged . The hard drive can be bought for cheaper, but they're all used, broken-in hard drives. okay, so if i started buying "top-of-the-line" stuff on ebay, and just sold them on mercadolib, could i make lots of money ? shipping to somewhere like south america is only like $10 more i think okay, now that's way too much . i dunno what you use all that for, but if i were to occupy that much hard have that much space (say for instance, porn, or movies, or backups of source code, or even backups of precious porn), i'd probably never look back at that stuff again , and the data would just sit there my biggest hard drive is like a scsi 80gb, that's on a file server. my second biggest drive is the samsung 60gb hard drive that i just purchased for my laptop , that i'll also use to store movies temporarily "on-the-go", since the slim laptop doesn't have a dvd/cd drive the hard drive that i use on my regular computer is only 20gb, and has plenty of space free. come to think of it, i don't really buy any more new computer stuff no more - i still have my celeron 1.2ghz (however, i did upgrade the video card to like a geforce something m64 2 years ago, just to place grand theft auto) i also keep all my movies on burned dvd's also, so i don't use any hard drive space at all

My MP0603H came in a odd presentation: not OEM, but not retail either! It came in a OFFICIAL Samsung foam-padded box (not crappy clamshells or aftermarket paddings), but only included the HD, a quick install guide, and a "You will NOT be able to install this HD by yourself, pay more $$$ for it" note from CompUSA (the guy that sold me the drive seems to have snagged it from CompUSA, so this may be a ElCheapo-retail-presentation after all). No CDs, no fancy manuals.
You can, but be aware of the following things:
- Evil buyers are everywhere, even more than eBay. Some can even ruin your rep, causing ML to ban your ass for all the eternity. - Since you're in the 'States, be prepared for high shipping costs. You will not gain too much clients because of this. Try in ML Mexico, the S&H should be not too expensive - You need to talk Spanish very well. Not "spanglish", but ACTUAL spanish. - Don't EVER try to sell cellphones on ML. NEVER! (back to first warning).
It will be difficult, but once you get a good rep and regular buyers, you certainly will earn some good cash. Try it, and if you fail like my Momentus hard drive, go back to eBay, and be happy there ;D
Damn! This reminds me that i need to backup my 1 gig of hentai! That's the only porn that i have in my systems. I swear it! ;D On the other side, Megaupload Premium is a HD killer... up to 4 gigs of downloads PER DAY! Anime DVDs are starting to stack over here.

I was too lazy to upload things to my site... but there are the pics of my latest wild experiment: running NetBeans (an cool Java IDE)... ON A PENTIUM MMX!!! Remember Saki, the recording box? Remember those 4x32MB SIMMs? Now, check this out: Nothing fancy there... unless you know that THIS splashscreen required a painful 1 hour install! If you have EVER tried NetBeans, you should know that it will choke with anything less of 512MB of RAM 5 minutes later... 30 minutes later... (including 1 minute of actual programming work) 2 minutes later... If my Core 2 Duo laptop get destroyed in another Dell battery incident in the future (God forbid... and if this happen again, expect a bloodbath on the nearest China/Japan battery factory), this (unfortunately) will be my dev station. Remember kids, don't mess with Java unless you're bloody rich on RAM Java torture testing: Done

@tom - any spare DVD-Rs so you can send me a copy? (yeah, there are many torrent sites for this, but all Hentai sites are WAAAAY too slow. Also I can trade you - but I only have TWO DVDs of Hentai, THREE if you include the DVD with many H-Games) Also remebber that Java is the spawn of S@t@N! Actually my Athlon Gaming rig has TWO 200GB Hdds (400GB) - I am working my way up to 1TB eventually... ;D

Talking about crazy anime: what have in common Galaxy Angel, Excel Saga and Di Gi Charat Nyo?
All of them have no sense at all! ;D If you try to understand such shows, you will get bored quickly. Also, why pink-haired girls are usually among the most weird and clumsy characters of the staff? Yes, i'm talking about Misha (Pita-Ten), Kurumi (Steel Angel Kurumi), Milleuffe (Galaxy Angel), Rabbi-en-Rose (DCN) and a whole load of others...
Back to the topic: after Meltdown Firefox, will Java run on a 386? Maybe the pirate M$ VM would work there... but, who knows? Fixing that Quantum SCSI HD is the first thing that i will do after vacation, then, try some Java there. Oh, i need to backup that Deathstar too! (yes, my 386 has the first Deskstar EVER released, the Deskstar! Or simply the DALA-3540).

...then you'll need ANOTHER vacation! OMG, LOL! ;D evildragon - Hentai is one of those things online. Basically the sites that DO have any of the stuff worth DL-ing are all P.P.V. sites. Either that or you just have to buy the dang DVD... There should be more torrent sites for this, but the ones that DO have Hentai are all SLOOOOOW. Hmmm...but I think we're getting a bit off topic now... (not that I mind though!)

To do: XXX386 - MPEG playback (for those lolita VCDs) - a better slideshow software (for XXX galleries) - a BETTER videocard (because hentai is best served at 16-bit color, not 256 color pallettes). - more RAM (the computer needs to enjoy its part, too ;D) - Internet access (for slow&soft access to the best XXX) The MPEG will always be an issue, until i get more RAM and a decent player (ActiveMovie is a no-go, and i can't find a decent VMPEG build). The better videocard seems to be a no-go too (where in the world i can find a GOOD ISA videocard? Not those 512K framebuggers!). The Internet access is a easy deal, if i can buy a EvDO crapphone (i got good deals with GSM phones, but EDGE is plain crap).
