False. Older Palms use Motorola DragonBall processors while new PDAs (including Palms? not sure) use Intel StrongARM/Xscale CPUs, so no 68K at all.

Actually, the Motorola Dragonball processor is 68k-compatible. Even then, it wouldn´t be possible to emulate a genesis in it, since it's too underpowered to emulate the VDP with an acceptable framerate. On the other hand, at least in theory, it would be possible on the newer ARM-based models.

porting gens to the palm would solve all problems =P (but the problem is porting it =D, and getting it to run decently)

There are a couple of Genesis emulators for the Palm. You can try LJP or if you have a Zodiac you can try LJZ or GuineaPig.
EDIT: These are for ARM based Palms btw.

It Could be possible to change the output of SNASM to create Genny Games.
Using Palm for BEX would compile a .prc
Functions (new): doBeep [Times, octave] Option HiRESComp ( Hi Resulution Compatability)
Also it could be possible to have the 32x and SCD Bios build in.
So When it's compiled then the code is:
'Sega CD Bios launch Incasm SCDus1_9110.asm or
'Launching 32x games incasm 32xMasterSh2.asm incasm 32x68k.asm incasm 32xSlavesh2.asm

i'm confused; what's trying to be achieved here?
- playing genesis on palms using an emulator? - running bex ide on palm to create palm games? - using bex ide on windows to create palm games/apps?

Number 1 and Number 3 is what i was thinking. What i meant about Bios Built in i meant Included in BasicEgaXorz. Maybe a BIN\32x\ISO to pdb for an emulator.
Oh and Tom,
Motorola invented 68k so any thing Motorola has 68k. just so you know.

there could be emulators already written for the palm that can emulate sega genesis roms and play them
there's no way i could make future versions of basiegaxorz compile programs for the palm. i don't know enough about the palm architecture, i don't own a palm, there are so many different versions of the palm, and palm isn't a preference cause it's not a gaming machine/console =P
