I looked how the sega genesis technology (68000) evoluted. The last 68k were this one: MC68060 > 75mhz > 110 mips > 8k of cache > 32 bits > 3 instructions per clock.
Wow. Just imagine if the sega genesis was made now (handhelt console)! With a new VDP, more ram, a new sound ship, can't imagine how should (?) be the 2d games!
Yop that is flood.

i saw a cpu converter for converting a 68040 to 68060 for amiga. i don't think converting 68000 signals to 68060 will work, since the 68060 works purely off a 32 bit statis bus
