I have loaded the program GALAXIAN in a real cartridge. The game works, by pressing the button reset on SEGA MEGA DRIVE-II the game stops indefinitely. At repeated inclusion of a power the game is started normally. Such effect is observed at start of other programs made through BasiEGA. On the emulator GENS this mistake is not present. My MEGA DRIVE with firm cartridge is reset normally.

Gens has no Soft Reset. Try using Reset 68000
Or try your game in Fusion, it has Soft Reset, like the real Genesis.
Some games crashes with Soft Reset.... but my demos (and Galaxian) does not crash with Fusion Soft Reset

I checked this error on emulators Gens and Fusion with hardreset and softreset. On emulators there are no problems. The problems are available, when I load game created BasiEGA in microcircuits AT29C010A real cartridge on the real console.

i dunno why the genesis soft reset is so wierd, maybe it doesn't toggle the reset lines of the some of the sega's peripherals or whatever, since when you push soft reset on the sega II, the licensing screen does not pop up. I'll have to check some things out before i really know why it doesn't work on real hardware when you soft-reset
EDIT: i noticed that you used an at29c010. I had REALLY bad trouble with atmel's flash memory parts, one of my troubles were making at29c512's work on a genesis cart. The game would sometimes start, or sometimes freeze in the middle of the game, or would not work at all, same symptoms when i was using these chips on a z80 controller board. The chips were plenty fast enough to process the info in time, they were 70ns, the genesis would work on 120-150ns or roughly higher
I'll check with my ram board

1) I have checked up reset on other console Mega Drive-II - mistake has repeated. 2) I have loaded in microcircuits AT29C010 (90 ns) firm games RAMBO-III (256 Êb), MsPacman (128 Êb). In these games the reset works normally. The games can be downloaded from a site www.emu-russia.km.ru 3) Hence, the type of microcircuits here is unimportant. Check up procedure of initial clearing of the registers and stack. 4)For Steeve Snake (if he reads this forum) - in the emulator Fusion SoftReset does not work as in a real cartridge on BasiEGA.

4)For Steeve Snake (if he reads this forum) - in the emulator Fusion SoftReset does not work as in a real cartridge on BasiEGA. I supose that BasiEgaXorz init routines do a mem enviroment cleanup... acting as a hard reset.
