for music, i'll try to add mvs tracker routines to bex, since that tracker seems to be very popular for everyone. there are no guarantees that i'll work on it though, for another 2 weeks . i've been doing lots of work lately, and haven't had the time to update my site, or update the compiler. i'll still promise to have the new version of the compiler out soon (not later )!

Err ... Actually, I was referring to the Uchuusen's sound driver , which I think is the best I have seen so far. It's really great, and is completely written in BEX!! For those who do not know, should search on Google, it is not very hard to find ...

You should give a try on TMSE made by Tiido (the guy on Spritesmind.net forums). It is 100% SNASM assembly and supports 5 FM + 2 DAC (soft mixed) + 3 PSG. It is fast and easy to use, and it has it's own tracker. I am having a hard time though, making it work on bex, because it seems the label pointer used for Noise Machine passes the binary address to a different register than the driver reads (D0). Additionaly, he uses a command (ALIGN 256) before the INCBIN and it seems that BEX generated ASM uses EVEN. I don't know any asm, but I am sure that working together we can figure it out. Believe me, we have been using his driver on the Tavern RPG demo (soon to come) and it is very reliable. Tulio

Yes, I have seen the work of Tiido, but the sound driver is not yet available. I am wrong?

It is still in development but I am his beta tester! Now I want to have it working with BEX. I know it is possible... It is the most powerful driver I ever worked with.

I don't post much here, but you mentioned my name, so.... ;D Actually, the version that was written in BEX is the older, less preferred way to go about it. I'm surprised someone actually went to the trouble to try using it in their games. The Z80 version is in my opinion easier to setup, although there is advantages to having the music run from the 68K, certainly. At any rate, whatever works for you is cool. Rock on.
