I must be daft or something. I can't find my compiled file. I'm running Windows 10 if that has any relevance, I ticked the option for "copy output file to projects directory and rename" and it says it compiles to my BasiEgaXorz folder, but it is not there. Does anybody have any ideas on what I should do?
EDIT: I ran my emulator, went to the folder and by the emulator I can find the file, just that Windows 10 decides that I should not see the file when viewing the folder. Any windows 10 wizards know how to make windows display it?

I leave that option un-checked and the yaddayadda.bin file always ends up in the same directory as yaddayadda.bex
I'd create a directory. Make a .bex example program there and compile it. See if that's true (with the "copy output file to projects directory and rename" un-checked.)
M$ is evil so they hide file extensions by default. Remember to check [x] file extensions in the view tab in Windows Explorer.

It is Windows 7/10 specificity. Your files are copied in C:\Users\YOURCOMPNAME\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\basiegaxorz To solve problems: Choose compatibility with Windows XP in properties of a label basiegaxorz.ico or exe
OR setup basiegaxorz folder not in "Program Files".
