Thanks fl ! The 1 player mode is nice but it seems like only 2 screens are available in this mode. Plus , it seems you're using a single palette of 16 colors for backgrounds for the whole game , not good... Each background should have its own palette or else it will not look good at all. That aside , it plays great ! You should try to post it here : gendev.spritesmind.net/forum/My game "Unlucky Pony" despite being more complex graphically was not received well so maybe you will have more coverage than me.

thanks for the link, blabla
it's normal, it's the remake of AppleII version. the appleII version had only 2 scenary in the 1 player mode and 16 colors were enough for the four scenary
if you want to remake the amiga version, you must modify the code in several points but the most big work is to create the sprites of the amiga version (it represent 150 little sprites of 1x8 tiles). it will take you one or two months to do this i can help you if you want bye

Great work fl! I don't think it's that nobody cares, but more like these forums really only have a small handful of active users. Don't let it discourage you though Spriteminds is a good place, especially for programming help and knowledge. If you want to get the word out there, you can always check out SegaAge.com, and its sister site NintendoAge.com. Neither site is against other consoles, so don't let the names fool ya Each site is primarily Sega related, or Nintendo related, respectively.

fl gets MAJOR POINTS for including his source code in the barbarianMEGADRIVE.zip download on his site.
Developing a game can be an inherently selfish process. By giving out the source fl has not only let us enjoy his game but learn from it as well.

Congratulations for coding a complete game for Sega Genesis! I am still in the battle of trying to make my game. And the set including box, manual and cartridge is wonderful! Could you please tell us how to make the set? How can I get a cartridge with any game made with BasiEgaXorz? And this beautiful box and manual, where could we get them?

hello, now the game has an ingame music on an an emulator (like kega fusion) , the music plays a little too speedy, but on a real megadrive, the music plays at normal speed : thanks to moon and blabla for the code and the help if you want to download the .bin : www.dropbox.com/s/ftpuo9dq72h52uz/barbarianMEGADRIVE.zipbye F.L
