So, for what I understand I just got lucky and my z80 driver ended up in a even address. Anyway, I included an align 2 after my binclude, just to be safe. Thanks sega16 for the advice. By the way there is a new ROM version. Changed the HUD a little and added a cool effect for the lifebar. Attachments:

Just tried the latest... seems the enemy planes only appear up to 2/3rds the way across the screen, and overlap the life bar sometimes. Maybe you meant to add an offset to push them past the life bar and forgot it?

I haven`t noticed that, thanks for informing me, it was fixed. In the final game this is not supposed to happen because the enemies will appear in a pre-defined order, and not at random like in this beta.

Sorry for bumping this old thread, but i have a problem with the tfmcom. I simply can't make it run on win98 or windows 7. A friend of mine made some music with VGM maker what we want to put in our game later, but i can't make those tfc files. Or with a way to use the music files without converting.(tfd) Can anyone help with a working version, or convert some files later? I currently trying to learn BasiegaXorz, and this thread is great, i can understand almost everything.

There's no way you can play / decode a mp3 on a 7.67 MHz CPU .. let alone on the 3.58 MHz Z80 which is commonly used to playback music. If you don't want to write your own driver, use something like Echo.

Hi everyone. The project is paused for a while since I got a little busy those last years. Nowadays I am working on another project (an iOS game ). As soon as it is finished (it is around 70% done). I will resume my genesis game. Nothing has changed since the last release, I will upload the rom again in case anyone wants to check it out.
