The screen gets warped when you press the select button. It's VERY finicky about which SD cards it'll take. At NO point in the documentation do they tell you ROMs have to be put in a folder called GAME to be recognized. The other free games offered via Internet are pirated hacks (typical). Oh, and certain ROMs will overwrite the bootstrap for the console thus rendering the unit a brick. Besides that, the Datavision MD-8066 is a WONDERFUL device!
I know! The EverDrive checks to see if your ROM is too big for the area it allocates in flash memory. How hard would it be to implement a software check like that in a mass produced unit? Expectantly since this is NOT the first model with that Genesis emulator on it!!!
I'm mad because the concept is so cool.. 3 batteries give you your entire Genesis library on the go.. sigh!
