The schematics of the FLASH-cartridge is published in a paper magazine RadioHobby (Ukraine - Russia, http://www.radiohobby.tk) and is to the address rh.qrz.ru/ZIP/rh604_4751.pdf - in Russian, rh.qrz.ru/ZIP/sega3.zip - files of the programs and other - in Russian. Translation of the name of the publication - "ETERNAL" CARTRIDGE FOR SEGA MEGA DRIVE-II, surname of the author Ryumik Sergey. If you want, can give on this circuit the link, as it is possible to write down games on BasiEGA -D.

hey =D, 6 ttl logic chips =P
there's another cheaper way to reduce the number of chips, and that's to use the flash's 8 bit bus, and program the chip from there. this is what my initial design for this one other dev cart was going to use only three d flip flop chips and no buffering to the flash, but its still wasn't a good idea

=P, a lot of russians are wanting to use basiegaxorz because i keep getting emails to make the ide language international XD

About programming of 8 bits. In FLASH-cartridge the automatic switching of modes is used. At connection in MEGA DRIVE the mode of 16 bits is used, but at programming (loading of games) - 8 bits. Therefore schematics of the programmer is very simple (in comparison with a case if to program in a mode of 16 bits). If it is even more to simplify schematics of the programmer, it is necessary itself to make for him the own program. However in our case the standard program from WillemProg (http: // http://www.willem.org) is used, its good.

ohhh, the willem programmer, that explains why there's more logic chips than needed =P
