i think there was one time, in which i had to use something like dosbox to get snasm to work I STILL have to use DOSBOX to run SNASM... under Linux! ;D It would be nice to have a native Win32-based assembler for avoid those nasty issues. How hard could be program a custom assembler from scratch? As I mentionned in a previous post, there is already a "SNASM syntax compatible" assembler for Windows out there. Check out ASM68K from the PSY-Q devkit available at www.segaxtreme.net/.

I have to pay more attention to what I am doing. I check this board every 20 minutes and I missed this thread... How is this possible? What kind of super-duper-BaziEgaXorz Uzer am I? I think I am getting old.... Thanks for the release, Devster. I'll smash it this weekend. Do you have any news on the update for the reported bugs? Thanks Tulio

i meant to update my webpage since the new year started, but i haven't even gotten around to looking at it yet . i'll try to check out those assemblers. i've heard that asmx is able to mix assembly languages together, eg: z80 code inside something made for 68k. also, i just recently heard of this TFM (?) music tracker. i haven't been keeping up with the sega dev scene lately . i think there's bugs when using the z80 with basiegaxorz because i think there use to be a conflict between using video dma, and using 68k memory from the z80, so i made some fixes, which might have made things worse, so i'll check that out
