Whether there are solid musical editors for GENESIS for PSG (four channels) and for musical syntheziser? What format of record of the notes is standard for Genesis?

The ym2612 uses notes as its format. The psg uses frequencies. I have a table to convert notes to frequencies to the data used in the psg on my basiegaxorz page

1) On what formula it is possible to calculate data for PSG, which are not given in HELP BasiEGA? 2) About the musical editor. I meant the separate program, which translates the notes which have been written down, for example, in a format MML (3 or 4 sound channels), in factors for PSG.

1) f = 3.579MHz/(32n) were f is the frequency, and n is the PSG data
2) i don't know of any musical editor for the ym2612 or the PSG

no there is no frequencies for chords chords are combinations of frequencies if you think of sine waves, a constant frequency is a sine wave. mixing two sine waves together to form one wave will produce one "messed up" wave that does not have a constant frequency.
am5 should be notes a, c, and d# so in basiegaxorz, you would need to convert these 3 different notes to frequencies to psg data
starting at the 5th octave a = 440 hz c = 261 hz d# = 311 hz
psg 0,770 psg 1,596 psg 2,664
