Now that I had a chance to look at your example, it's really neat and easy to understand One thing I updated was this: tick++ If tick=2 Then tick=0 EndIf
To this: tick = tick + 1 And 1
and it runs slightly faster and more smoothly. At least I thought so. Then, I was wondering what the "tick" does. Well, I commented out everything to do with the variable tick, and it works just as smoothly. My question is: what was the reasoning for adding this in? Maybe something you were planning on doing but never did? I did notice that code outside of the vblank, once enabled, doesn't appear to have time to run?
