Wich dir is the correct to copy win98 install?
Option A: "C:/Windows/Option/Cabs" Option B: "C:/Windows/Options/Cabs"

What do you mean? If you see those directories, then Windows is already installed. Are you talking about copying the installation CD to the hard drive after installation? You can copy it to any folder you want, and if a program requires a file from the installation CD, just browse to that folder.

I know this topic is way old but I have relevant information.
Royalty OEMs and even local computer shops used to place the install files in:
C:\Windows\Options\CABS
This was standard practice as your average end user would usually forget to bring in their Windows discs when repair time came.
