Just use the correct compiler. They have differences that will eventually matter.

They're both similar, but like I said, they have differences and those will end up being more trouble than it's worth unless you're very fluent and familiar with asm. It's like asking "will qbasic work in bex?" The answer? Yes, but not everything will be compatible and will need to be rewritten for compiler specific procedures and functions. They are 2 different compilers with similar language structure.

Oh, you mean for inclusion in bex. I thought you meant for pure coding. Depending on what you're trying to do (I'm assuming timing critical operations), you won't want to use bex for that, even with inline asm. Some things will work fine, but most won't due to the way bex handles things during the basic to asm conversion.

Well the assembly code itself will be just fine, what may be different is macros and psuedo-ops. Those are where you will find the differences. I never could understand why people hang onto SNASM68k.

Download the latest version of asmx here xi6.com/projects/asmx/ and then extract the zip file and you find a file that says "asmx-doc.html" open it in your favorite web browser and read it. If there is any interest I may make a startup code template.
