Sorry, I don't have any. To be honest, this project didn't get any further than a bunch of weird ideas for tiled vocel maps and a few fast SH-2 fixed point math routines. Basically, I was hoping to make the 32X render an 8 by 8 kilometers playfield in realtime (rough calculations ;D). If only I had enough free time, I would likely be working on that right now. But DeathBringer is my priority and this project has been sleeping for waaaay too long. About the Megacart, it looks amazing!

I'm doing some heavy work on BasiEgaXorz: a port of a license plate generator to the Genesis. For now, random plate generator is almost done (and it seems to work with no major issues), the menu is done, and it will feature a special character... More details next week!

I've been away for the last couple months while I was moving, but I finally got settled and set up my Genesis/CD/32X again! Two things I am working on: a video codec, and a new version of DOOM, both for the 32X+CD.

Here are some WIP pictures of my "license plate generator" for the Genesis (now known as PLACAMASTER 68K)
tomman.monkeeh.com/media/PM68K_WIP/ => (beta 13, codename "Raichu").
Hell, i even have a roadmap! (this sounds more like "Free Software")
'ROADMAP: 'v1.0 (Clamperl): final 'v1.1 (Faragonda): 1st revision 'Deadline: 21/08/2006
Graphics are done, but there are no sound. Since i have no music composer talent, it will feature some "random PSG crap" like CrazyBus, and some basic PSG tunes.UPDATE: v1.00 (Clamperl) was released yesterday! Get it here, here, or hereEDIT: links fixed

" I was hoping to make the 32X render an 8 by 8 kilometers playfield in realtime (rough calculations ;D). " Hinhin, I have another surprise like that, but megadrive based... tulio knows "Two things I am working on: a video codec, and a new version of DOOM, both for the 32X+CD." If u just make the doom code running from ram and having the other SH to blit sprites, u can get fullscreen/fullspeed without problem The actual doom runs from ROM (4times slower) and uses only one sh2... Then you just have to rip out the 68K/z80 part Big theory but the 32x doom sux a lot. If you make it rise, i can make u a cartridge... 64Meg, full access. www.genny4ever.net/index.php?page=works#megacdHéhé, as u can see, here is a preliminary ownage of the FMV on segacd "EQXPRO8_MJBEATIT" "UPDATE: v1.00 (Clamperl) was released yesterday!" Hu? U'r drawing the plates in real time? Nice

"UPDATE: v1.00 (Clamperl) was released yesterday!" Hu? U'r drawing the plates in real time? Nice The engine is damn fast, drawing the plates in almost 1 second ;D An update is planned for this week: it will add the option to customize your plates. EDIT: v1.10 (Faragonda) was released a few hours ago

currently, i'm working on building a clone of the MC-10 color computer made by radio shack/tandy from the 80's. i have all the parts, lots of HD6303 CPUs (original was an MC6803), MC6847 VDGs, and now MC1372 video modulators. the only software the MC-10 has on it is microsoft basic the original cpu was an MC6803, but since i don't have any of those, i'm just gonna stick in an HD6303, or HD63701. The Hitachi (HD prefix) parts run much faster than the original motorola spec, so RS232 timing and cassette timing's gonna be way off. i'm gonna build an original clone, and another version that'll be like "upgraded" with a CPU clock rate 4 times as fast, and a floppy drive interface i also need to update my website because i've worked on lots of goodies since the last update. the hardest thing is making the actual content , since i'm really lazy at documenting things

Man, you're alive!
And about the content: why not convert the whole thing to a Wiki? (using something like TikiWiki or DokuWiki, NOT MoinMoinWiki or something weird! MediaWiki as a last choice, or if you have lots of CPU to spare)

i like the old way of doing html+ftp there's the wiki on eidolon's inn that i have access too also the hard part is actually writing and typing . still have lots to document on the new things in basiegaxorz also. i've also thought about trashing proboards, and setting up a forum using punbb on the site. i think i can be able to convert content from here to punbb. i just will need to make a program to browse through all the different links, and extract forum threads . but man, too much work, and also, proboards are allright, i hope you guys don't get pop ups XD. i'm using firefox so i'm ok

*bump*

Anyone still read this forum?

Happy birthday Tom! ;D I wish you a truckload of vintage hardware for your experiments! Yes, I do read this forum from time to time. But unfortunately, there isn't as much activity here than there used to be. A lot of active members have simply vanished including Devster himself. Speaking of him, I wonder what he's been cooking up during all this time... Personally, it's been like 8 months since I haven't done any serious work on projects. I've been really occupied with work and then school. But I still have ideas so I write them down on paper hoping that someday, I'll have some free time to implement them. But for now, I really must upload the content I've prepared for the domain Devster set me up on monkeeh about a year ago.

The scene seems to be in one of those "forced hibernations". I hope that this hibernation will end in 2007...
As for PLACAMASTER 68K update: look at Eidolon's Inn for the update.
