Yea, fake has been busted for a long time. What are you trying to do?

Okay... But how does that help with what you're trying to do with "fake"? There are other methods that can be used as a workaround to fake, such as DMA transfers and memory copying/altering, and so on.

What effects are you looking to do? Animations? Replacing?

Unfortunately there's no hardware scaling or rotating, so you'll need to devise your own method for that. Wish I could help you, but I haven't done anything like that yet, though the theory is pretty simple. You can also do *some* scaling using hblank effects, but bex pads vblank and hblank that the code may not execute fast enough

Found a bug while trying to make a raster test. EDIT: Found out it wasn't a bug, but a variable error. Sorry for wasting your time, @moon But it gives me 2 consecutive errors!!!1st message ERROR: Line 13: Argument types do not match 2nd message ERROR: Line 13: Cannot identify variable type And it then highlights the wend

Found a bug while trying to make a raster test. Please ask what's wrong with your code before assuming you've stumbled upon a bug. Because it's not a bug .. the arguments in your comparison aren't of the same type ( which is exactly the compiler error you're getting ). Scanlines is a ( 16-bit ) integer, while 76800 is a ( 32-bit ) long literal.

The PUTS command doesn't work properly with the last version of BasiEgaXorz.
Puts <Screen Position>, <Expression 1>;<Expression 2>,......

Halm me, im NOOB ( I compiled collision_detection.bex example, but binary file won't work in appropriate way. If this binary emulated with with Kega Fusion collision counter always at 0. If same binary emulated with Gens it always at 055. BasiEgaXorz says "Succesfuly compiled for Sega Cartridge" with no mistakes. Is this a compiler problem or example file problem or emulator or something else? pleas halp (

I'd try Second BASIC as it is actively developed. www.second-dimension.com/sbasic/
