OK I finaly found out what was causing the junk to be printed when I called the Print "Press Start".
The cause is that I was sending the command from the label (sub) that runs ON VBLANK.
I changed a little my code to work arround it and now it is fixed.
I have another bug to report but I shall do it later. I think it's most related to ImaGenesis than to BasiEgaXorz itself...
Seeya.

Imagenesis? If you mean random garbage... just fix it with Tile Layer Pro

Look for MSCOMCTL.OCX, and put it into your Windows\System32 directory.

I couldn't assign a color to space D on pallette 0. When I changed to a different space, it worked, so something must be wrong with D.

And oh yeah, drawtilesinc draws tiles horizontally then vertically instead of the way propsprite does, vertically then horizontally.

I agree there.... i don't like to slice my bus models on CrazyBus, it's boring and time-consuming.
what is space "D"? color 13?

Yeah. The bug might have been caused by me using the letter D instead of the number 13 in the palette command, but A and F both worked fine that way at the time, although I had to change them to 10 and 15 later. The weird thing was that the color in D got set as the default background color, and when I changed the bgcolor, D got set to black. There must be something especially wrong with that space.

you may be using D as a variable name, so its value may be zero or anything.
Better use &hD, although it may refuse to compile sometimes (BUG!)

i thought i took out all the cases in which &hXXX does not compile under some commands. it'd be cool if you could maybe find which commands do this =P, i think DATA doesn't fix &hXXXX to 0xXXXX, but i thought i already fixed this bug

For example, pallette &h000,x,x refuses to compile sometimes, but pallette 0,x,x compiles OK
