I was testing my kernel faker demo, and i've discovered an strange bug with input function: hold A until the cursor reaches a new line, then a bunch of crap will appear. Press and hold B after this will hang the game. here is a shot of this nasty bug:

I can't run the editor - it quits with a runtime error 429 (ActiveX component can't create object). I tried moving it about to no effect.

you may need a new mscomctl.ocx file if you're using windows 98 you can download that from here: www.lessonplanlocker.com/vbcontrols/MSCOMCTL.ZIPmscomctl.ocx goes into the c:\windows\system directory i may get rid of the toolbar on the next release because the only reason the ide needs mscomctl.ocx is for the toolbar

you can put a lot of buttons into a picturebox, and get rid of mscomctl.ocx. Or do it by the hard way: using APIs. But that will require that you rewrite the entire IDE on C, 'cause you need to define a message handler loop and such things. It can be done also in VB, using the same routines used in C. But you will need to define a class, create, register, create the window, show, paint, process msgs, draw controls, and that crap. Check on www.mentalis.org/apilist/2091523979DBEDCAD728958414922C72.html for a "C-style window creation and management" on VB.

You can add a PictureBox to a MDIForm! It will dock to the top of the window. You can change position with Align property. In fact, you can add visible controls (buttons/toolbars,etc) that has the Align property. Do you see the GenRomSuite "oultook-style" toolbar? It's just a bunch of images into a left-docked PictureBox ctl. And the statusbar is another bottom-docked PictubeBox.
Read MSDN/VB help for more info
or simply stay with mscomctl .P

Well I am with a serious bug. After some screens something really weird happens.
I send the commands:
Locate 10,4 '(for example) Print "Press Start Button"
Then the location is correct but it prints a Club and an Underscore.
I don't understand, because I revised the code several times, and I checked the VRam using Gens KMod and the tiles and pallette are ok. No tile was changed between tile offset 0 to 255.
Thank you very much!

the bug may be within the heap not being properly terminated with a null, or your string not being sent correctly to the heap. i really can't locate the bug with the two lines of code your provided me because it works perfectly =P. so uhm........try taking out some peices of your code and do some debugging here and there

As said on Bugzilla: WORKSFORME.
I have discovered a tiny bug on my installer: BEX workdir was not set in the start menu shortcut, causing to BEX to start in another workdirectory, and giving me a "NO SNASM68K" error.
You may need to fix your executable to chdir to the app.path
Or me fix the installer?
