Hello camaradas! I have read a lot of forums trying to find a source sample wrote for Basiegarox or for Second Basic with rotation cenarios or zoom on sprites but I was not abble to find. I have a wish to make something like a fight engine to our dear Mega Drive Genesis with that rotation floor like Street Fighter and with something like zoom characters like Art of Fight, it can be with fake zoom changing sprites by direct rom memory tecnic, I alreally learn this trick, but if some of you could trully help with a working sample to rotation or zoom please tell me!
I will release latter a sample with direct rom memory acess to change the characters body tiles at each move, it allow to create a big and super animated character using just 100 tiles of vram space.
The problem with scaling and rotation is it has to be done with a custom routine, so making an "all purpose" scaling is rather difficult. Rotation, on the other hand, can be done a few ways, but is still tricky. Rotation is one thing I want to add to SecondBASIC, but finding a fast and efficient method is tricky (as well as getting it to work in the first place )
