In what format is Sega CD PCM encoded? It almost appearms like A-law/PCM, but not quite.

the pcm datasheet should explain the format of the data, and everything else you'd ever want to know. a copy can be found at www.retrodev.com

I got an answer from MOD. It's 7 bit data with 1 bit sign value. Sound Forge supports the format.
Everything is working nicely with PCM sound on the SegaCD.
