Awesome!!!! You are the master of all consoles!!! How did you implement the music? Did you make the library? Some notes: * Title screen music is too harsh/noisy * Bombs kill too easy. Maybe only drop bomb if player isn't directly below bomb? * Displayed score would be nice * Maybe a bonus for each sequential kill?

For music , i used the examples in basiegaxorz. It is named test_ramgame.bex. First , i convert mid to mod with mid2mod. Then , i import mod with TFM Music Maker. After , i choose instruments because they are not imported. Finally , i export it in tfd which can be read after by basiegaxorz.
For notes : -Yeah , i will certainly change that music.(It hurts my ears) -Why not.I will try to implement that... -Of course ! I will make it ! -Like invincibility or 2 Lives ?
Thanks for suggestions !

Fun game! just one suggestion I took me a bit to figure out that you press A instead of start on the title screen.I think some people might think the game locked up.

great game very fun to play! Also I just made a guide on how to use smps and I think the music would sound better because the download links include the original aqua ruin song and the converted songs would support dac and psg which tfm music maker does not. Also just converting something from midi to mod sounds bad even in a mod player. Also keep up the great work on the game!

Sega CD / Mega CD version now available ! This version includes six tracks to replace the megadrive music. Enjoy ! I'm working too on a PC-ENGINE version. I'll put screenshot for this version soon if you are interested.

Have you tried running Sonic Arena on a real Genesis? It locks after I select the arena on a real Genesis.

Really ? Have you tried to fix it with FixChecksum ? That's weird , it works well on Kega Fusion.(but it freezes sometimes on Gens) Retry please , the game has maybe freezed... And if you have a Sega-CD , try the Sega-CD version please. I would like to know if the game works correctly... Thanks

Believe it or not, the checksum won't do a thing as it's not used in the genesis hardware to determine anything about the ROM. I'm willing to be the issue lies with the sound driver, more specifically, the z80 not being initialized correctly. I had the same issue with a previous game - worked great in the emulator, worked great on the everdrive, but when it was burned to an EPROM, it locked up (however, it only locked up on the Genesis/Mega Drive model 1 and 2, not the model 3 or jvc x'eye).
If you're using SMPS, I'd recommend using kram's kramlib to initialize the z80 and use his smps player, or if you're using TFM, I'd use kramlib to initialize the z80 and use the TFM driver from Galaxian? (not sure about Galaxian, but I know Devster included a working driver in one of the examples with BEX). I don't know if TFM uses the z80, but this fixed my issues.

You could use my take on smps it is from sonic 1 which works on real hardware and you can make your own tunes unlike the sonic 3 edition from kramlib which uses a different format. Also for the kramlib (sonic 3 driver) it uses over 400kb and that is due to using $align 8000 alot (z80 related?) and my take on smps does not waste space with abunch or zeros also it takes up about 100kb and could easy be reduced with less samples at a lowersample rate. Also you can even use your own samples. Edit:I read your post in my topic about smps that you had trouble with finding the right fm interments if you want you could post the songs you want converted and I could do it for you.
